Day 1 - Arrival in Washington, D.C.

Guests arriving at either DCA or Dulles International Airport will be transferred to our hotel in Washington, D.C., where a Sovereign representative will welcome you. In the evening, we will gather for our first shared dinner and a time of teaching.

Day 2 - Washington, D.C. to Mount Vernon
Sunday, August 2, 2026
After breakfast at the hotel and a morning worship service, we will begin the day with a visit to the Museum of the Bible. From there, we will explore the National Archives to view our nation’s founding documents. In the afternoon, we will travel to Mount Vernon for lunch and a tour of George Washington’s home. Dinner this evening will be on your own.

Day 3 - Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia
Monday, August 3, 2026
After breakfast at the hotel, we will turn our attention to the philosophical and theological foundations of the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. Special focus will be given to the influence of the Great Awakening, which helped shape a society that might otherwise have developed along purely secular lines.
This day will also include visits to Independence Hall and Carpenter’s Hall. After lunch on your own, we will continue with a tour of Christ Church burial ground, followed by a walking tour of the Quaker Meeting House, Old Zion Lutheran Church, and the Reformed Church.

Day 4 - Philadelphia to Princeton
Tuesday, August 4, 2026
As we explore Princeton, we will visit the gravesites of notable figures such as Jonathan and Sarah Edwards, Charles Hodge, Archibald Alexander, Aaron Burr, John Witherspoon, B.B. Warfield, Grover Cleveland, and others who left a lasting imprint on the legacy of Princeton University. Our time will also include a visit to Princeton Theological Seminary, where we will consider the lives and ideas of the theological and philosophical leaders who shaped American evangelicalism. We will conclude the day with dinner and a time of teaching.

Day 5 - Princeton to New Haven
Wednesday, August 5, 2026
After breakfast and a time of teaching in Princeton, we will journey to New Haven, Connecticut, to visit the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University. There, we will engage with Edwards’ extensive writings, view artifacts from his life, and consider his enduring zeal as a champion of the gospel.
Following lunch on your own, the afternoon will provide time to explore New Haven before returning to our hotel. Dinner this evening will also be on your own, offering an opportunity to enjoy the city at your leisure.

Day 6 - New Haven to Boston
Thursday, August 6, 2026
After breakfast at our hotel, we will travel to Plymouth Rock, the historic landing site of William Bradford and his fellow Mayflower passengers.
Upon arrival, we will enjoy a seafood boil near the harbor before visiting Plimoth Plantation, where we will step into the world of the early Pilgrims and gain insight into their daily lives and challenges. Our time in Plymouth will conclude with a visit to the Pilgrim Fathers’ Monument, a striking testimony to their enduring legacy.
We will end the day in Boston with a final dinner and a lecture, reflecting together on the providence of God in guiding His people.

Day 7 - Boston
Friday, August 7, 2026
After breakfast, we will visit the Boston Tea Party Museum, situated near the site of this pivotal moment in America’s history. We will also walk through the Granary Burying Ground, the resting place of Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, and the victims of the Boston Massacre.
Upon returning to the hotel, we will be escorted to the airport via limousine.
